If you runs or employed in shops, restaurant or theatre,
this is another good read for you. In Malaysia, shops, restaurant or even
theatre (cinema for an example) it seems to be the business need to be run

you may earn a rest day but it is named as weekly holiday and under this act name
Weekly Holiday Act 1950 and it only applies on Peninsular Malaysia.
All shops are required to close either Friday or Sunday
(depending to your manager or proprietor) with the exception of shops listed on
this table:-

If you insist to have your shop open on the Friday or Sunday
for business, only proprietor is allowed to attend to the customers. Proprietor
here can mean husband, wife and the children of the proprietor.
Under this law, you are required to at least close your shop
