BDCM-B-Week31-BCL: 1965 or 2016?

Under Section 167(2) Companies Act 1965 required all documents that is related to accounting of the company to be kept for at least 7 years. 

Failure to comply, may face 6 years in jail or RM5,000 fine or both punishment. 

p/s: Interesting to note, it seems to have two companies act, 1965 and 2016. Which to comply and which to enforce?
