To be a company secretary and understands the entire Company Act 2016 could be challenging for the beginners. That is why SSM made a simple Code of Ethics for Company Secretary on how one to ensure transparency, integrity, accountability and corporate social responsibilities.

Some interesting point in the Code of Ethics are:-

1. Limit his secretaryship of companies to a number in which he can best and fully devote his times and effectiveness;

2. Be present or represented at meetings and do not allow himself or his representative to be excluded or withdrawn from those meetings in a way that prejudices his professional responsibilities as secretary of company
